MEDICAL RIP-OFF
Good point Dopey, last medical i had was 4 years ago, from what i remember the council said i had to use my own doctor because he/she had access to my full medical records. I checked elsewhere and found that the council were talking crap (as usual)... but i took it no further because any doctor i went to would have to have my medical records AND heres the catch.... my doctor could make a reasonable charge to make my records available (£40 was the going rate at the time)... so i have plan B.. next time i need a medical, i will make some excuse about my money being in the car etc. then i am only going to pay maybe £30 or £40 and basically "do a runner"

Magic, how long were you actually in with the Doc. and what tests were carried out, from what i remember the only thing my doc done was take my blood pressure, the rest of the medical was along the lines of:-
Can you hear ? ... yes,, box ticked
and some other daft questions

Re: Whats up doc
Why are they allowed to get away with it, thats what i want to know. If they seriously think £60 (much more in my case) is OK for 5 minutes work, then we should ask the council for a special rate for doctors !!!!! whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
Imagine the scene, North Shields rank to Abbotts Way for instance, "thats £95 please",
"what ?... you have only just brought me from North Shields, it only took you 10 minutes", "yes, thats correct and so is the fare, now will you please pay up and get out of my vehicle or i will be obliged to charge you waiting time"

whats up doc
this topic seems to attract a lot of visitors, so let us make it quite clear, we do not sell Viagra, we never have and never will, although the way the taxi trade is going we might consider it at some point in the future if the demand is there !!!! its all that sitting around, not good for the circulation ,so drivers get out of your vehicles and stretch your bo**icks between jobs.
